Supplies You'll Need

  • Table salt
  • Vinegar
  • Dish soap
  • Warm water
  • Small bowl
  • Paper towels
  • 2 soft cloths

Directions

  1. Gently blot the stain to remove as much liquid as possible.
  2. Sprinkle table salt on to the stain and let it sit while you prepare the cleaning solution.
  3. Mix 1 ½ tablespoons each of dish soap and vinegar in a small bowl.
  4. Add 1 ½ cup of warm water and mix well.
  5. Dip the end of your cloth into the cleaning solution.
  6. Gently blot the stain with your wet cloth.
  7. Blot the stain with a dry cloth.
  8. Alternate between the wet and dry cloths until the stain is gone.

Baking Soda And Peroxide

  • Baking soda
  • Peroxide
  • Warm water
  • Small bowl
  • Rubber gloves
  • Soft cloth

Directions

  1. Put your gloves on.
  2. Fill a bowl with warm water.

  4. Pour a ¼ cup of peroxide onto the stain and allow it to set for about 10 minutes.
  5. Gently work the peroxide into the fibers with your fingers.
  6. Blot the area with a soft cloth.
  7. Pour a small amount warm water onto the stain.
  8. Blot the area with a clean portion of the cloth.
  9. Repeat the process until the stain is gone.
